Hi, my name is Tracie and I live in San Juan Capistrano, CA.  Where the swallows come back.  I live with my wonderful husband, two small dogs and occasionally our grown daughter and her two cats.  Hubby and I love seeing the west in our 1987 VW Vanagon Syncro named Otis.  He is a Westphalia Weekender.  That means he has the pop up top, but not the kitchen.  Just a plug in cooler.  He is also a Syncro; what they call the 4WD vans.  We are not hardcore Syncronauts, but is nice to be able use it in the mud and snow  I am starting this blog to share our experiences and here from others that are like minded.  I will posting about camping, traveling and restoring our Vanagon.
